We are expanding our On-Demand Talent Network and seeking experienced Freelance Media Strategists to lead the development of integrated media strategies that align with client goals and drive performance. This is a remote, project-based role perfect for strategic thinkers who blend data insights with creative media planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop holistic, insight-driven media strategies across digital and traditional platforms.
- Translate marketing objectives into channel strategies, media mix recommendations, and measurable KPIs.
- Analyze audience data, consumer behavior, and market trends to inform planning decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (media planners, creatives, data analysts) and clients to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Recommend innovative media solutions, partnerships, and emerging platform opportunities.
- Create and present strategic decks and campaign frameworks to clients or leadership.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in media strategy, preferably in an agency or multi-client setting.
- Strong understanding of media channels including digital (social, display, search, video), traditional (TV, radio, print), and emerging platforms.
- Proficiency in media tools and research platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, GWI, Comscore, Nielsen, etc.).
- Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and client-facing experience.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with brand positioning, audience segmentation, or campaign lifecycle strategy.
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising and performance marketing.
- Familiarity with multicultural or global media strategy development.
