On-Demand Talent Network: Programmatic Buyer

Job brief

We are growing our On-Demand Talent Network and are seeking experienced Freelance Programmatic Buyers to manage real-time bidding (RTB) and programmatic campaigns across leading DSPs. This is a remote, flexible opportunity for data-driven professionals who are experts in media buying, campaign optimization, and audience targeting.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and optimize programmatic media campaigns across DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, AAP.
  • Set up and manage campaigns across display, video, native, audio, and CTV inventory.
  • Work with first-party and third-party audience data to develop targeting strategies that drive performance.
  • Monitor campaign pacing, performance, and delivery; optimize in-flight campaigns to improve KPIs (e.g., CPM, CTR, CPA, ROAS).
  • Ensure brand safety, fraud prevention, and adherence to viewability standards.
  • Collaborate with strategy, analytics, and creative teams to align media tactics with broader campaign goals.
  • Generate performance reports and insights to inform optimizations and future planning.
     

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with programmatic buying via DSPs (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP) 
  • Strong understanding of programmatic ecosystem, including ad exchanges, SSPs, DMPs, and pixel implementation.
  • Proven experience in managing performance-based campaigns with measurable outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, or platform-specific dashboards.
  • Familiarity with brand safety tools (e.g., IAS, DoubleVerify) and viewability/fraud benchmarks.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.


Nice to Have

  • Experience in omnichannel buying (e.g., CTV, DOOH, programmatic audio).
  • Familiarity with campaign attribution models and incrementality testing.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations affecting data-driven advertising.
